Paper Submission

1.CSubmission of full paper and abstract

(1) All speakers (in both oral and poster sessions) are required to submit both the full paper and the abstract. The full paper will be published in the proceedings’ CD, and the abstract will be published in the abstract book. The deadline for submission of both the full paper and the abstract is July 15, 2009.

(2) The full paper should be prepared according to the “ANQ Congress 2009 Tokyo Full Paper Template,” and the abstract should be prepared according to the “ANQ Congress 2009 Tokyo Abstract Template.” These templates can be downloaded from http://www.jsqc.org/anq2009/.

(3) The full paper should be between 6 to 10 A4 pages. The abstract should be strictly within half A4 page. The full paper and the abstract must be submitted in ENGLISH. Both must be prepared using Microsoft Word (Version 2003 or earlier). The names of the files should be in the following format: “PaperNo._Name_Fullpaper.doc” (e.g., JP1_Thomas_Fullpaper.doc)
“PaperNo._Name_Abstract.doc” (e.g., JP1_Thomas_Abstract.doc).

4) Both the full paper and the abstract should be submitted to an ANQ member organization from the speaker’s country. All the full papers accepted for presentation will be included in the proceedings’ CD after being reviewed by the Program Committee.

2. Preparation for presentation

[For the Oral Session]
(1) You will be allocated a presentation time of 18 minutes with an additional 7 minutes for the question and answer session. Ensure that you strictly adhere to the time limit.

(2) Speakers are expected to prepare a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation. Do not use too many slides. A maximum of 20 slides are allowed.

(3) Use your own PC. Hence, you do not need to submit the PPT file. The Congress Committee will not provide a PC for the presentation. If you cannot bring your PC to the presentation room, please contact the secretariat.

[For the Poster Session]

(1) The size of a poster board for each speaker is 150 cm (vertical) by 90 cm (horizontal). You can use the allocated space as per your wish. Also, you are free to decide the size and number of posters. However, please note that the font size of the letters should be larger than 40 points.

(2) Posters are put up on the poster board on either the first or second day of the congress. Poster session speakers are required to be in front of the poster at the core time for the presentation and during the question and answer session.

3. Registration

(1) All speakers must register for making a presentation. Registrations can be done online at http://anq2009.org/. The speaker’s fee is applicable to one speaker for each paper. The deadline for registrations is July 15, 2009.

(2) If both the full paper and abstract are not submitted or if the registration fee of the presenting speaker is not received by July 15, 2009, the submitted abstract will be assumed to have been withdrawn
