　 ２００４年８月１６日〜１９日インド(ニューデリー)にて，第2回アジア品質ネットワーク(Asian Network for Quality: ANQ) Congress 及び第1８回アジア品質シンポジウム(18th AQS)が開催されます。従来Chinese Society for Quality (Chinese Taipei), Korean Society for Quality Management(Seoul)とJSQCの3組織がこのシンポジウムを開催してきました。前回より、ANQに加盟する品質に関する１１組織が開催するシンポジウムに拡大され、グローバル社会におけるアジア品質の更なる向上を目指して議論を行います。 今回のホスト組織は、Indian Society for Quality: ISQ (New Delhi)です。有意義なシンポジウムにするために JSQCでは、

■Call for Papers（JSQCメンバー向け）& 発表までの流れ
2004年 ３月２２日までに、JSQCあてに下記を英語で記述し提出。
  1. 論文題目
  2. 著者と所属
  3. 要旨（A4　3-4ページ、シングルスペース）
  4. 連絡先
4月01日ごろ 著者は要旨改訂アドバイス、論文作成アドバイスを受取る。
4月14日までにコメントをベースに改訂した要旨を再提出。
4月16日にJSQCが提出された要旨をまとめてISQへ提出。
5月28日ころに採択通知をISQが著者に通達。
7月13日までに、発表が採択された著者はfull paperをJSQCに提出。
なお，4月16日までにISQ secretariat (isq@vsnl.net)に、「１． 論文題目」、「２． 著者と所属」、「３． 要旨 (A4 3-4 ページ、シングルスペース)」、「４．連絡先」を直接申し込んでも良いのですが、その場合にはJSQCで企画している下記(1)から(3)の対象外となることをご了解ください。旅費支援、論文賞の兼ね合いもあるので、3月22日までのJSQCへの提出を強くお勧めします。

<18th AQSのオススメイベント>
（１）若手研究者の旅費支援
　JSQCでは、大学院生を対象に一つの発表に対して１名のみ5万円の旅費支援を行います。該当者が多数の場合には、提出された要旨の評価が高い順に、十数名を選びます。なおこの選考は、JSQCを通して要旨を提出した方を対象とします。
（２）論文賞
　大学院生などの若手研究者を対象とした、「最優秀論文賞」があります。これは、優秀な論文(full paper)を対象に、若干名を表彰するものです。主たる著者が大学院生などの若手研究者で、JSQCをとおして要旨が提出してあればこの賞の選考対象となります。特別な手続きは必要ありません。
（３）論文作成アドバイス
　JSQCをとおしてアブストラクトを提出された場合には、full paperを書く際にどのような点を強調したら論文の質が高まるか等、良い論文を作成するためのアドバイスを行います。
